Scientific research has shown that the presence of a doula in the birthing room makes the experience significantly safer, happier and less painful.

From our initial meeting all the way through your pregnancy and delivery, I take the time to get to know you, your concerns and your needs. I will always be available to contact by phone
I will meet with you at least 3 times before your birth to get to know you, discuss your birth plan and answer any questions you may have so that when the time comes we are relaxed in each others company and I know how best to keep you calm and confident throughout.
I’ll be there to hold your hand, make sure you are heard, keep you focused and keep your partner calm, mop your brow (or your partner’s!) and take photographs if you wish.
I am willing to travel for up to an hour from where I live in the Southside of Glasgow.
Shared Care
I am delighted to be able to offer Shared Care Birth Doula services with the lovey Matilda Strang. Shared Care is just 2 doulas for the price of one! We both attend all your antenatal meetings meaning you benefit from both our knowledge and expertise. You are guaranteed a doula you know and trust attending your birth and should you end up having a long labour we can ‘tag team’ to ensure you always have a fresh faced doula attending you.

“Things didn’t exactly go to plan but it was great having Hannah’s experience and knowledge on hand to help make informed decisions”, JG.
“Hannah was an amazing doula for us! Right from the beginning she listened to our situation to find out what we needed in a doula. She showed care and consideration and helped us prepare and be confident towards the upcoming birth. She was a great encourager. When I was in labour she was right there with me, the whole 12 hours! She physically supported me in positions and encouraged me throughout. It made a huge difference to my labour experience. Hiring Hannah was the best decision my husband and I made and I would recommend her to anyone wanting that extra bit of support in their pregnancy and labour journey! Thanks Hannah! ” BT
